Emergency treatment for anticoagulant-associated intracranial haemorrhage
Alveron Pharma is a clinical-stage biotechnology company developing OKL-1111, a novel drug candidate for the emergency treatment of intracranial haemorrhage and other severe bleeds associated with anticoagulant or antiplatelet therapy.
ICH accounts for over half of all stroke-related death and disability, with current standard-of-care limited by slow door-to-needle times of 1.5–2.5 hours.
OKL-1111 is designed as a rapid first-line intervention with potential for pre-hospital use. The drug has completed a Phase I clinical trial.
