Biota Trace

Biota Trace develops automated sampling technology for environmental monitoring in air and water.

Its instruments connect molecular sample collection with sensors and digital data, allowing samples to be gathered in response to environmental events rather than only at fixed intervals.

The approach is intended to support studies of environmental DNA (eDNA), pollution, antimicrobial resistance and biodiversity by linking laboratory analysis with the conditions recorded during sampling.
