Biotherapy Services is a clinical-stage company developing autologous biotherapies for wound healing and tissue regeneration.
Its lead treatment is a gel prepared at the point of care from a concentrate of the patient's own platelets, activated with the patient's own thrombin to release growth factors and other healing proteins.
Regulated as a medicine, it is being evaluated in a multicentre clinical trial in people with diabetic foot ulcers.
