Single-use airlift bioreactors for cell culture and fermentation
Cellexus is a life science equipment manufacturer developing single-use airlift bioreactors for microbial fermentation and mammalian cell culture.
Its systems use rising gas bubbles rather than mechanical impellers to mix and aerate cultures. Disposable bioreactor bags and optional process controls support working volumes from 1.5 to 50 litres.
The technology is used for bacteriophage propagation, microbial and mammalian cell production, and bioprocess development in research and industrial laboratories.
