Platelet function biomarkers and assays for cardiovascular clinical research
HaemAnalytica is a University of Reading biotechnology spin-out developing platelet-function assays for cardiovascular research and clinical trials.
Its TRIPLEcheck platform uses platelet biomarkers to predict thrombotic risk and antiplatelet treatment response. PLANA combines preserved blood samples, flow cytometry and analysis software to characterise platelet reactivity across clinical study sites.
The company also provides specialist platelet analysis and consultancy, supporting patient stratification and drug development. Its diagnostic applications remain under development.
