MORF-Bio is a company developing a web-based software platform that makes microbial bioinformatics and bioprocess data analysis accessible to researchers and industry without specialist coding skills. Its tools cover microbial genome assembly and comparison, metabolic modelling, fermentation data visualisation and digital twins for bioprocess optimisation.

Spun out of the University of York in 2025, the company closed a pre-seed round led by Deeptech Seed Fund and has paying customers across both academic and industrial biotech.
