Pneumagen is a Scottish clinical-stage biotechnology company developing broad-spectrum intranasal antiviral therapies.

Pneumagen’s platform generates multivalent carbohydrate binding molecules (mCBMs) that block viral entry by binding to sialic acid residues on host epithelial cells.

Its lead candidate Neumifil has demonstrated positive results in Phase II human challenge studies for influenza and is being advanced into Phase II studies in COPD patients.

Pneumagen also develops a mucosal retention platform for intranasal biologics.
