ProAxsis is a diagnostics company developing and supplying laboratory immunoassays and point-of-care tests for the measurement of active protease biomarkers in respiratory disease.

Using patented activity-based capture technology, the company's assays quantify neutrophil elastase and proteinase 3 as indicators of airway infection and inflammation in conditions including COPD, cystic fibrosis and bronchiectasis.

ProAxsis also supports pharmaceutical company-sponsored clinical trials from its laboratory facility in Antrim.
