Single-molecule counting point-of-care diagnostics for cardiac and other biomarkers
Psyros Diagnostics develops a point-of-care diagnostic system using single-molecule counting technology to measure biomarkers at extremely low concentrations within around ten minutes, from a single drop of blood.
The platform's lead application is a high-sensitivity troponin assay for cardiac diagnosis, with the underlying technology also being explored for neurological conditions, immune system dysfunction and infectious disease detection.
The system combines a single-use test cartridge with a dedicated analyser, enabling rapid testing outside traditional laboratory settings.
