Verdiva Bio is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing next-generation oral and injectable treatments for obesity and cardiometabolic disorders.

Its pipeline centres on rationally engineered peptide candidates acting on GLP-1 and amylin receptors, advanced through a proprietary oral absorption technology designed to enable once-weekly dosing.

The lead programme, VRB-101, is in Phase 2b clinical development. Its amylin receptor-selective candidate, VRB-103, entered Phase 1 trials in 2026 for use as monotherapy and in combination with VRB-101.

Verdiva Bio Doses First Patient in VRB-103 Phase 1 Study

Verdiva Bio has dosed the first patient in a Phase 1 study of VRB-103, a once-weekly oral amylin receptor-selective peptide analog for obesity, its second oral peptide candidate to enter the clinic. The study will evaluate VRB-103 alone and in combination with lead candidate VRB-101, an oral GLP-1 analog, with initial data expected by the end of 2026.
