BioYorkshire is a regional industrial biotechnology partnership supporting translation of research into bio-based products, processes and commercial ventures.
Led by the University of York, Fera Science, Askham Bryan College and the Biorenewables Development Centre, it connects researchers and businesses with biorefining, demonstration and scale-up capabilities.
Its programmes support bio-based chemicals, materials, fuels, sustainable food production and agricultural innovation across York and North Yorkshire, alongside workforce development and regional investment.
