Constructive Bio

Constructive Bio is a Cambridge-based synthetic biology company developing programmable biology platforms for the creation of novel biomolecules.

Spun out of the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, the company's technology combines whole genome synthesis and engineered protein translation to produce molecules incorporating non-canonical amino acids not found in nature.

Applications include next-generation therapeutic peptides, biologics and sustainable biomaterials, with manufacturing partnerships targeting commercial-scale production of peptide therapeutics including GLP-1 agonists.
