Fera Science

Fera Science provides laboratory testing, applied research and regulatory services across agriculture, food and the environment. Based at York Biotech Campus, its specialists undertake food safety and authenticity analysis, crop and plant health diagnostics, environmental fate studies, ecotoxicology and chemical safety assessment.

Established in 2015 from the former government Food and Environment Research Agency, Fera supports industry and public-sector clients through research, analytical testing and scientific advice.
