Inivata is a liquid biopsy company developing molecular tests for cancer using circulating tumour DNA from blood samples.

Its sequencing-based assays identify tumour-associated genetic changes and have been used to investigate residual disease, recurrence and treatment response. The technology supports molecular diagnostics and oncology drug research.

Acquired by NeoGenomics in 2021, Inivata remains a UK-registered biotechnology business within the group's cancer diagnostics operations, which include a Cambridge laboratory.
