Jellagen

Jellagen is a Welsh biotechnology company developing and manufacturing collagen biomaterials derived from sustainably harvested jellyfish.

Its proprietary Collagen Type 0 is compatible with a broad range of human cell types, making it suitable for cell culture, tissue engineering, wound care, and regenerative medicine applications.

Unlike mammalian collagen, it carries no risk of prion or viral contamination. Research-grade products are commercially available; clinical-grade formulations for medical device and therapeutic use are in development.
