Laboratory Animal Science Association

Laboratory Animal Science Association is a scientific society supporting professionals involved in animal research and experimental models.

It publishes practical guidance on animal welfare, ethical review, behavioural studies and training under UK legislation governing scientific animal use.

Its specialist sections promote the replacement, reduction and refinement of animal use, alongside research methodology, husbandry and large-animal science. The association also organises scientific meetings and professional development for researchers, veterinarians and animal care staff.
