Macrophage-based reprogramming of the innate immune system
Ojas Immune develops therapies that reprogramme macrophages, innate immune cells involved in inflammation, tissue repair and disease.
Its platforms combine synthetic biology, stem cell engineering and computational modelling. SyntheMacs focuses on engineered macrophage cell therapies, while ReProMacs explores selective reprogramming of tissue macrophages through targeted receptor engagement.
The early-stage company is investigating applications including cardiovascular disease and cancer, with research activity linked to Cambridge's Babraham Research Campus.
