OMass has closed an oversubscribed $310 million (£230 million) Series C, co-led by new investors Bain Capital Life Sciences, Forbion and Novo Holdings, with existing backers including Syncona, Oxford Science Enterprises and the British Business Bank. The funds will take lead candidate OMS1620, an MC2 receptor antagonist, through Phase 2 trials in congenital adrenal hyperplasia and ACTH-dependent Cushing's syndrome, and generate first clinical data for its SLC15A4 inhibitor.
Nxera Settles miniG Patent Infringement Action Against OMass Therapeutics
Nxera Pharma has settled its High Court patent infringement action against OMass Therapeutics, resolving OMass' past infringement of two patents covering the miniG platform technology. Settlement terms are confidential, and Nxera said it will keep monitoring unauthorised use of the technology underpinning its NxWave platform.
