VNAR antibody shuttles for brain-targeted biologic therapies
Ossianix is a biopharmaceutical company developing single-domain VNAR antibody platforms for targeted delivery of therapeutics across the blood-brain barrier.
Its TXP1 shuttle binds transferrin receptor 1 to transport antibody-based medicines into the central nervous system. The company engineers antibody fusions and bispecific formats for neurological disorders, including a preclinical anti-CD20 programme for progressive multiple sclerosis. Ossianix conducts research at Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst alongside its US operations.
