Polytecks is a University of Cambridge spin-out developing wearable, textile-based sensors for high-resolution bioelectrical mapping.

Patented electrode arrays capture heart signals at far higher density than standard ECGs, with AI transforming the data into detailed cardiac maps within minutes to support earlier detection of electrical and structural heart conditions.

Initial pilot studies in veterinary settings have diagnosed conditions such as mitral valve disease in dogs, ahead of planned expansion into human cardiology.
