Plasma amino acid biomarkers for multi-cancer risk assessment
Proteotype Diagnostics develops blood tests to support earlier assessment of possible cancer.
Its Enlighten test measures patterns of circulating amino acids in plasma and applies machine learning to estimate the likelihood of malignancy across several solid tumour types. It is designed to inform further clinical investigation, not independently diagnose cancer.
The Cambridge-based company's test is undergoing evaluation through the MODERNISED NHS study involving patients with suspected cancer.
