AberInnovation
Agri-tech and bioscience innovation campus in mid Wales
AberInnovation is a BBSRC and Welsh Government-funded innovation campus providing research facilities, business support and accelerator programmes for companies in agri-tech, food and drink and industrial biotechnology. The campus operates five specialist centres covering biorefining, future foods, analytical science, seed biobanking and innovation, and runs the BioAccelerate programme for early-stage bioscience ventures. Part of Aberystwyth University, the campus is co-located with the Institute of Biological, Environmental and Rural Sciences.

Bruntwood SciTech is a joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund, developing innovation campuses and city centre hubs for science and technology companies across the UK. Its portfolio spans nine campuses and 31 hubs across Manchester, Cheshire, Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool, Cambridge and Glasgow, home to over 1,100 businesses. The company works in partnership with regional cities, universities and NHS Trusts to support company formation, scaling and growth.
Granta Park

Granta Park is a 120-acre managed life science campus in Great Abington, south of Cambridge, owned by BioMed Realty and TWI. The park hosts around 30 organisations across purpose-built laboratory and office facilities, with current tenants including AstraZeneca, Illumina, Gilead, Bicycle Therapeutics and Altos Labs, supporting a scientific community of approximately 3,000 people. A new 120,000 sq ft laboratory building recently completed on site, with further development plots available under outline planning consent.

Harwell Science and Innovation Campus is a 700-acre science and technology campus in Oxfordshire, founded in 1946 and home to over 200 organisations. Managed by a joint venture of the Science and Technology Facilities Council, UK Atomic Energy Authority, and Brookfield, the campus hosts three thematic clusters in space, energy, and health technology. The Health Tech Cluster comprises several life science organisations and is one of seven UK government-designated Life Science Opportunity Zones.

Southampton Science Park is a 75-acre science and technology campus in Chilworth, Hampshire, owned by the University of Southampton. The park provides office, laboratory and conferencing facilities to over 100 companies across technology and life sciences, with approximately 15% originating as university spin-outs. Its Science Centre offers shared chemistry, biology and general purpose laboratories for early-stage companies. The park hosts the SETsquared accelerator programme and a self-funded Catalyst business accelerator for technology start-ups.

Chesterford Research Park is a managed life science campus set across 250 acres in Little Chesterford, Essex. With over 60 years of continuous research activity on site, the park provides flexible laboratory and office space across approximately 300,000 sq ft, hosting companies from early-stage biotechs to global organisations including AstraZeneca, Illumina and Charles River Laboratories. A new 60,000 sq ft multi-occupancy laboratory building completed in early 2026, with Camena Bioscience as its first tenant.

BioEscalator
Oxford University's biomedical start-up incubator and lab space
The BioEscalator is the University of Oxford's biomedical incubator, providing flexible laboratory and office space to early-stage life science companies on the Old Road Campus. Located between the university's medical research buildings and the Churchill and John Radcliffe hospitals, it offers shared core lab facilities, business support, and access to the broader Oxford innovation ecosystem. Tenant companies have collectively raised over £1.4 billion. The building is shared with the Novo Nordisk Research Centre Oxford.

TTP Campus is a bespoke research and technology campus located in Melbourn, Cambridgeshire, developed and operated by TTP Group. The campus houses TTP plc alongside a growing cluster of spinout companies. Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst (SBC) is a not-for-profit open innovation campus and the UK's first biomedical catalyst, established in 2012 through joint funding from GSK, Wellcome and Innovate UK. Co-located with GSK's UK R&D facility, the campus hosts over 40 life science companies alongside the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult Manufacturing Centre, LifeArc and Cytiva. SBC offers laboratory space, shared equipment and business support, with a particular focus on cell and gene therapy.
