Tangram Therapeutics has appointed Dr Laura Roca-Alonso as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of the Board, confirming her in the role after serving as Interim CEO since March 2026. Roca-Alonso, Chief Operating and Business Officer since 2020, will lead the company as it works towards clinical data on its co-lead RNAi programmes, TGM-312 for MASH and TGM-148 for bleeding disorders, over the next 12 months.

Medicines Discovery Catapult has appointed Dr Mike Strange as Chief Executive Officer, confirming him in the role after serving as Interim CEO since February 2026. Strange joined MDC as its first Managing Director in 2025, having previously led a £100 million global health programme at LifeArc and spent more than two decades at GSK.

SkinBioTherapeutics has appointed Rachel Parsonage as permanent Chief Executive and Alyson Levett as permanent Non-Executive Chair, having held both roles on an interim basis. Parsonage joined in March 2026 and Levett in June, following an investigation into the conduct of the former chief executive.

Cytospire Therapeutics has appointed Sumeet Ambarkhane as Chief Medical Officer. Ambarkhane, previously CMO at Pathios Therapeutics and Alligator Bioscience, will lead clinical development of CYT X300, Cytospire's lead pan-gamma delta T cell engager for EGFR-positive solid tumours, as the programme moves towards first-in-human studies.

Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst's board has appointed Andrew Waters as Chief Executive Officer, promoting him from Chief Financial Officer & Interim CEO, a role he had held since January 2025. Waters joined SBC as CFO in September 2023 after 16 years at GSK across R&D and commercial roles and six years co-founding a start-up that raised over £40 million and launched OTC medicines into the US market.

Redx Pharma has appointed Dr Mei-Lun Wang, a paediatric gastroenterologist with over 25 years of clinical and drug development experience, as chief medical officer. The appointment follows the addition of gastroenterologist Dr Bernard Coulie to Redx's board on 27 August 2026, further bolstering the company's gastroenterology expertise around lead candidate RXC008 for fibrostenotic Crohn's disease.

Foventa Therapeutics has appointed Dr Zaiba Malik as Chief Medical Officer and Julia Jones as Chief Financial Officer, ahead of a planned Series A round to take lead candidate FOV407 into a Phase IIb trial. Malik joins from Medpace, where she was Global Medical Director and Therapeutic Area Lead for Ophthalmology, while Jones has previously supported biotech fundraises including for Amphista Therapeutics and Congenica.

Oxford BioDynamics has appointed its Chief Executive Officer, Richard Compton, as an Executive Director on the board.

SkinBioTherapeutics has appointed Anita Slater as interim Chief Financial Officer for an initial six-month term, effective immediately. Slater is a chartered accountant with around 30 years of commercial and financial leadership experience across AIM-listed and FTSE top 10 companies, and joins as the group continues to strengthen its governance and financial controls.

CHARM Therapeutics has formed a Clinical Advisory Board of AML specialists to support CHM-029, its next-generation menin inhibitor, as it advances toward first-in-human studies this year. Board members bring expertise across clinical oncology, haematology, translational research, and early-phase trial design.

BIOCAPTIVA has appointed Stephane Argivier as Chair, succeeding Frank Armstrong who had served since the company's inception. Argivier brings 30 years of life sciences experience, including board-level roles in diagnostics and life science tools, and takes over as the company builds on its recent £1.58m funding round and US product launch.

Roz Bird, CEO of Anglia Innovation Partnership (the campus management company for Norwich Research Park), has been appointed Interim Chair of the UK Science Park Association. She will work alongside UKSPA CEO Ruth Hall to deliver the association's new strategy for strengthening UK science parks and innovation clusters.

NRG Therapeutics has appointed Dr Claus Sundgreen as Chief Medical Officer, effective 1 August 2026. Sundgreen, a neuroscience drug development specialist with particular expertise in ALS, will lead clinical strategy for lead candidate NRG5051, including its ongoing Phase 1 trial and a planned Phase 2 ALS study starting in 2027.

4D Medicine has appointed Andrew Newland as non-executive chairman. Newland previously founded and led ANGLE plc, a cancer liquid biopsy diagnostics company, through FDA product clearance and IPO, and brings 20 years of public company chief executive experience to 4D Medicine's peripheral nerve protection technology.
