Iksuda Reports Preliminary Phase 1 IKS014 Data Ahead of SABCS
Iksuda Therapeutics reported preliminary Phase 1 findings for IKS014, its HER2-directed antibody-drug conjugate, ahead of a December scientific presentation. Among 105 treated patients, 16 experienced Grade 3 treatment-related adverse events. In a subgroup of ten response-evaluable breast cancer patients previously treated with trastuzumab deruxtecan, five had confirmed or unconfirmed partial responses. The findings are preliminary and do not establish efficacy in a larger patient population.
Tiziana Reports Phase 2a INFORM-MS Trial Meets Primary Endpoints
Tiziana Life Sciences reported that its 48-patient Phase 2a INFORM-MS trial of intranasal foralumab in non-active secondary progressive multiple sclerosis met both primary endpoints covering PET-measured microglial activation and safety. The 50 μg group showed a statistically significant reduction in the imaging marker versus placebo after 12 weeks. The company also reported improvements in fatigue scores, although the trial was not powered to establish definitive clinical efficacy.
