HutanBio is an industrial biotechnology company developing microalgae-derived oils for use in sustainable transport fuels. Its proprietary marine algae strains are grown in enclosed photobioreactors designed for high-salinity, high-temperature environments, enabling cultivation without agricultural land or freshwater.

The company combines algal cultivation with modular reactor engineering to produce oil feedstocks for aviation, shipping and heavy transport. It is progressing from pilot-scale validation towards commercial deployment.
