The MRC Laboratory of Medical Sciences is a biomedical discovery research institute studying the molecular and physiological basis of health and disease.
Scientists and clinicians collaborate across three core research areas, including epigenetics and stem cell development, genes and metabolism, and quantitative biology.
Based at Hammersmith Hospital in partnership with Imperial College London, the Laboratory trains the next generation of clinical and non-clinical scientists, working closely with its sister institute (MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology).
