CSF-1R antibody therapy for tenosynovial giant cell tumour

SynOx Therapeutics is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing emactuzumab, a humanised monoclonal antibody targeting CSF-1R, for the treatment of tenosynovial giant cell tumour and other macrophage-driven conditions.

Emactuzumab was licensed from Roche and inhibits the CSF-1 receptor to deplete disease-driving macrophages in affected tissue.

The Phase 3 TANGENT trial completed enrolment ahead of schedule in 2025, with FDA Fast Track designation granted.

SynOx is headquartered in Dublin with UK operations in Oxford.
