Valaya Bio is developing RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics for age-related neurodegenerative diseases, initially Parkinson's disease. Its platform uses precision oligonucleotides designed to modulate upstream molecular regulators implicated in multiple disease pathways, including mitochondrial dysfunction, autophagy and inflammation.

The company is investigating brain-targeted delivery methods to support disease-modifying treatment approaches. Its research pipeline also considers other central nervous system and ophthalmic disorders.
